HR Advisory Services & Strategy Coaching
From insight to action, with confidence.
We help leaders and vendors move from what the data says to what to do next: briefings, shortlists, roadmaps, and one-on-one coaching from analysts who see the whole market.
Advisory for the decisions that are hard to undo.
Choosing an HCM platform. Rebuilding the talent acquisition stack. Deciding whether to build, buy, or partner for AI. Taking a new product to market. These are the moments where an independent analyst who has seen hundreds of providers and thousands of employers earns their keep.
For employers
We start with an executive briefing on where the market is heading and what it means for your organization. From there, a technology landscape session gives your talent team a clear view of the options, and a shortlist narrows it to the providers worth a demo. If you're implementing, we build the roadmap and facilitate the workshops where the hard choices get made.
For HR technology providers
Analyst briefings work both ways. We'll tell you how buyers describe your category, where your differentiation lands and where it doesn't, and what the research says about the problems you're solving. One-on-one strategy coaching keeps that perspective on tap as you plan launches, positioning, and roadmap.
Coaching
Some leaders want a standing advisor rather than a project. Our one-on-one coaching gives HR and vendor executives regular sessions with a Lighthouse analyst: a sounding board with data behind it. For leadership development coaching rooted in self-leadership and purpose, see Lighthouse Academy.
Common questions
HR Advisory & Strategy Coaching FAQ
How does an advisory engagement start?
With a conversation about the decision in front of you. From there we scope either a fixed engagement (a briefing, a landscape session, a shortlist, a roadmap) or an ongoing advisory relationship with regular access to the Lighthouse analysts.
Are you independent from the vendors you recommend?
Yes. Lighthouse research and shortlists are independent. Providers partner with us for research and analyst briefings, but they do not pay for placement in employer recommendations, and we disclose relationships.
Do you coach vendor executives too?
Yes. HR technology leaders use Lighthouse coaching for market positioning, product roadmap perspective, analyst-style feedback, and go-to-market strategy grounded in what buyers are telling us.
What does a technology shortlist include?
A structured view of providers that fit your requirements, size, and industry, with differentiators, watch-outs, and questions to ask in demos, drawn from our briefings with 200+ providers and our HR Tech Awards evaluations.
